BHM Schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Distance learning is in effect for BHM students through June 4, with the last day of instruction on May 29.  During this time, staff could be working remotely, and we recommend that you communicate with them through email.

Home School

Minnesota offers expansive school choice that includes both public and private educational options. One private school option for parents is to home school their children.  When parents make the choice to home school, they become responsible for everything that traditional private school administrators and teachers do but in the context of their own home.  Parents are responsible to plan what students learn (in compliance with the subject areas listed in Minnesota Statute 120A.22), keep all records, manage costs, and assure the quality and scope of their student's education.  Students graduate from home schools with home school diplomas.  Additional information about home schooling as a private school option is listed below.
