The place to dream, believe and achieve

The Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District offers regionally unmatched opportunities in academics, arts and athletics.

Our highly rated preschool programs feed into the elementary level, where families can choose from their excellent neighborhood schools or pick locations with a STEM or STEAM focus. Students from across the district then unite at Buffalo Community Middle School, where they explore their interests through a wide variety of activities and opportunities. The BHM experience culminates at Buffalo High School, one of the area's finest schools. Few Minnesota high schools offer as many rigorous dual enrollment courses as BHS, the arts programs have traditions of excellence, and the athletic teams compete in one of the state's most competitive conferences.
