Homecoming 2025

This year our theme is “Home Sweet Homecoming”. Each day during Homecoming week, BHS students have the opportunity to participate in Dress Up Days. The week will end with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night. The dress up days and activities are decided by Student Council members each year.

Dress Up Themes: 

Monday 9/29 - "Pop Rocks" (USA day - wear red, white, and blue. We want unity and positivity - no negative or divisive messages, please.)
Tuesday 9/30 - "Sweet Dreams" (wear PJs or comfy clothes)
Wednesday 10/1 - "M&M Mayhem" (class color day)
   Freshman = Yellow
   Sophomores = Red
   Juniors = Blue
   Seniors = Black
   Staff = Green
Thursday 10/2 - "Jolly vs. Rancher" (Jolly=dress like a hippy, Rancher = dress country)
Friday 10/3 - "Grape Crush" (Bison Pride Day)

Monday, September 29: Homecoming Week begins with our Homecoming Coronation. This event begins at 7:00pm in the BHS PAC. Everyone is welcome to attend.

This year our Homecoming Candidates (voted in by the senior class) as pictured are: 
    Kings: Parker Youngquist, Robert Breckenridge, Parker Carlson, Wyatt Anderson, Hans Pederson, Jacob Hahessy, Aiden Herbst, and Kris Adair. 
    Queens: Alyssa Dumke, Evie Lubben, Brinley Thoe, Samantha Greig, Lauren Berg, Keeley Anonen, Audyn Molesky, and Emma Oja.

Friday, October 3: The Bison Football team will host the Irondale Knights at Buffalo High School on Bison Field West. Kick off is at 7:00 pm. After the football game, all BHS students are invited back to the High School to participate in Fun Night activities. Fun Night will begin around 9-9:30 pm and will end at midnight. During this event, students will have the opportunity to see a hypnotist and play in a volleyball tournament among many other fun activities on site. If students choose to leave Fun Night before it is over, they may not re-enter. There will be a $5 charge at the door or tickets can be purchased via a QR code posted around the school beginning at 8am on Monday, 9/22 through Friday 10/3 at noon. Fun Night is intended for current BHS students only.

Saturday, October 4: BHS Homecoming Dance. The dance goes from 7:00-10:00 pm and will be held at BHS. This is a semi-formal dance with a theme of "Candyland". If students choose to leave the dance before it is over, they may not re-enter. Cost for the dance is $10 in advance via a QR code posted around the school or $10 cash at the door. BHS students may bring a guest from another high school to the dance. A guest registration form must be filled out and returned to BHS no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2. This form is available in the BHS front office or on this website below. Tickets will be available to purchase online via the QR code Monday, 9/22 at 8am through Friday, 10/3 at noon only. Cash will be accepted at the door.
