BHS Homecoming 2026

This year our theme is “A Night on the Bayou”. Each day during Homecoming week, BHS students have the opportunity to participate in Dress Up Days. The week will end with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night. The dress up days and activities are decided by Student Council members each year.

Dress Up Themes: 

Monday 9/21 - Mountain Monday (wear flannel/cozy clothes)
Tuesday 9/22 - Tropical Tuesday (wear appropriate beach attire)
Wednesday 9/23 - Western Wednesday (wear western/cowboy/cowgirl attire)
Thursday 9/24 - Class Color Day
   Freshman = Yellow
   Sophomores = Red
   Juniors = Blue
   Seniors = Black
   Staff = Green
Friday 9/25 - Bison Out - wear purple!

Monday, September 21: Homecoming Week begins with our Homecoming Coronation. This event begins at 7:00pm in the BHS PAC. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Friday, September 25: The Bison Football team will host the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons at Buffalo High School on Bison Field West. Kick off is at 7:00 pm. After the football game, all BHS students are invited back to the High School to participate in Fun Night activities. Fun Night will begin around 9:30 pm and will end at midnight. Students will enter the building using door #8. During this event, students will have the opportunity to see a hypnotist, play ping pong, enter a volleyball tournament, use an inflatable obstacle course, among many other fun on-site activities. If students choose to leave Fun Night before it is over, they may not re-enter. There will be a $10 charge at the door or tickets can be purchased via a QR code posted around the school beginning at 8am on Monday, 9/14 through Friday, 9/18 at noon. Fun Night is intended for current BHS students only.

Saturday, September 26: The BHS Homecoming Dance goes from 7:00-10:00 pm and will be held at BHS in the cafeteria. Students should enter through door #7. This is a semi-formal dance. If students choose to leave the dance before it is over, they may not re-enter. Cost for the dance is $15 in advance via a QR code posted around the school or $15 cash at the door. BHS students may bring a guest from another high school to the dance. A guest registration form must be filled out and returned to BHS no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24. This form is available in the BHS front office or below as a download. For non-BHS students, tickets must be purchased in advance and the guest must have an ID ready at the entrance. Tickets are non-transferrable; the name on the ticket purchase must match the guest's ID. For BHS students, tickets will be available to purchase online via the QR code Monday, 9/14 at 8am through Saturday, 9/26. Cash will be accepted at the door.
