First 'B1 Bison Night' builds memories

The first 'B1 Bison Night' was a memorable evening for everyone involved.

About 130 kindergartners representing the Class of 2039 were welcomed to The Herd by Buffalo High School seniors, the Class of 2027, on Thursday evening, Sept. 3, before the first home football game of the season.

The event was an opportunity to help all kindergarten families feel that they are joining something special at Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools. The moment of welcome symbolized the journey from a student’s first day of kindergarten to the day they take the same field as graduates. As all BHM elementary schools unite under one Bison identity this fall, this moment served as a tangible reminder that we are one district, one community, one Herd!
