Announcements & Upcoming Events:

It's a Beach Party!  Thursday, March 26th is the Parkside Cafe's Beach Party for students during lunch.  Students are invited to bring a beach towel to sit on for their picnic lunch, and to wear their colorful shirts, hats or visors and sunglasses.  Remember, it's still March, so bring your warm clothes to wear the rest of the day!

School Resumes - Monday April 5th

Grade 1- Parent & Grandparent Program is on Friday, April 9th at 10:45am.  The music program will be held the Discovery Elementary auditorium across the street from Parkside.  Parents and Grandparents are also invited to join their first grader at 12:05 for lunch at Parkside (after the program).  To assist with our planning, you must reserve and pre-pay for your lunch ahead of time.  Lunch prices are $3.10 for adults and $2.10 for additional children (Parkside students can use their lunch accounts).  RSVP forms are due Wednesday, March 24th.  Please contact your child's teacher if you lost your form, or have questions.

Field Trip for Grade 2 students on Thursday, April 15th.  They will be visiting the Mill City Museum.

MCA Testing for Grades 3-5 students will be held on April 13, 14, 20, and 21.  Attendance is very important on testing days. Please be sure your child is here on time, is well-rested and has a good breakfast on these days to provide the best opportunity for success.  Thanks for your help!

Grade 2 Music Program - Friday, April 23rd at 10:45am.  The program will be held at Parkside in room #301.

Kindergarten graduation pictures will be taken on Wednesday, April 21st.
