It's "Beach Day" in the Parkside cafeteria for lunch on Jan. 28th!  Students may bring beach towels to sit on for a picnic style lunch. 

Yearbooks are on sale - Feb. 2 - Feb. 27, 2015!

PhyEd Family Fun Night- Monday, Feb. 2nd in the Parkside gym from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  Come on in for some fun family fitness!

Conference Nights are almost here!  Watch for your child's report cards to come home in Wednesday folders on Feb. 4th.  Parent Teacher conferences are on:

  • February 10, 12 & 17 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Quest--Applications Due Friday, January 30, 2015

Quest services highly gifted students (top two to three percent in class) in grades 2-9 and is a tuition-free school within a school located at Parkside Elementary (grades 2-5), Buffalo Community Middle School (grades 6-8), and at Buffalo High School (grade 9). If you think your child might qualify for the program, you are encouraged to apply. Deadline for applications is Friday, January 30, 2015. There will also be a Quest Informational Meeting on Monday, January 26 at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo Community Middle School Media Center (for all grade levels).


The Quest program is for highly gifted students and will be offered to students in grades 2-9. Qualified students from other districts are invited to apply. Raising children in today's society means parents need to Know the Truth. This is a presentation for parents of children of ALL ages (not just teenagers).

Know the Truth
is a substance abuse prevention program through Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. Join the Wright County Sheriff's office as they host the Know the Truth Symposium on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Buffalo High School Performing Arts Center.

The symposium will feature panel speakers from the Wright County Attorney's Office, Court Services and Sheriff's Office, Police Departments of Annandale, Buffalo and Howard Lake as well as local chemical dependency programs and  life changing stories that may affect how you raise your children.

  • All Kindergarten students eat breakfast at no cost.
