BHS Hosted One-of-a-Kind Event in Central Minnesota

Successful Financial Aid Night for Students and Parents

Fifty-one Buffalo High School seniors and their families received free professional assistance in filing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on February 19 at Buffalo High School.  This is the second year BHS hosted this event, sponsored through College Goal Minnesota.  Volunteers from St. Cloud State, North Hennepin Community and Technical College, College of St. Benedict/St. John's University, Hennepin Technical College, and the BHS Counselors, rallied together to make this event possible in our community.  In fact, it is the only event of its kind in the Central Minnesota area.

Minnesota College Goal is a statewide volunteer program that provides free information and assistance to students and families who are applying for financial aid for post secondary education. Buffalo High School hopes to continue offering this program in the years to come!
