IDEA 2004: Building the Legacy

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a law ensuring services to children with disabilities throughout the nation. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities.  This site has abundant resources for parents on the law and how it affects available services.

Infinite Campus--Staff

Staff use Infinite Campus to record grades, attendance, immunizations, food service balances and pin numbers, assignments (at secondary level) and student contact information. Parents and students can view this information through the secure use of the parent/staff portal.

PaySchools

PaySchools

PaySchools is an online payment processing system. It is currently used at some schools as a way to collect fees for things such as yearbooks or library fees. It is also used by BHM employees who want to enroll in COBRA insurance and people who would like to donate to the food service Angel Account, which helps to cover those students who have a one time, short-fall in their lunch account.

The first time you access PaySchools, you will be asked to create a username and password.  After you login, simply select the item(s) you wish to purchase then choose to pay by e-check or credit card (payment information is not kept by PaySchools to ensure your safety).  After you complete your purchase, an e-mail confirmation and receipt will immediately be sent to you.

Parent/Student Portal (Infinite Campus)

Infinite Campus is also known as the "parent portal." It allows parents to view their child's attendance records, immunizations, food service balance and pin number, assignments (at secondary level) and allows them to view contact information and change their email address. Infinite Campus is a secure site, therefore, users need a username and password to enter. Parents can obtain this by contacting their child's school office.
