BHS Arts Magnet

Buffalo High School Arts Magnet Program is a Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD) magnet program.

Our students participate in an academically focused program with an arts infused core curriculum.  The program is designed for students with a motivated interest in the areas of visual arts, music, theater, dance, literary and media arts, and interior or fashion design. The arts actively engage kids to think creatively, collaborate with peers and advisors, apply critical thinking skills, and learn to communicate their ideas.

Entrance into Buffalo High School Arts Magnet Program is application based and open to all students who live within the seven member district boundaries. NWSISD is a collaborative of seven area school districts in the northwest metro providing schools and communities with a variety of programs and services to promote racial equity and cultural awareness. The seven member school districts are Anoka-Hennepin, Brooklyn Center, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose, ISD 728 (Elk River area), Fridley, Osseo, and Rockford.
