At Parkside Elementary we value parent and community support and involvement.  Included in this section are links to information on how you can be involved, as well as resources to support your child's academic growth.

We have a number of annual events during the year for which we request volunteers, such as Fall Festival, Bingo Night and Family Movie Night.  As a school, we feel that we can set up the parameters for each event, and then have our Parent Volunteer Coordinator help us recruit volunteers to make them happen for students and families.  This eliminates the need for us to have formal PSAC (Parent School Advisory Committee) meetings each month.  We want to be respectful of everyone's time, and feel we can hopefully accomplish this without the need to schedule meetings.  We depend on our Parent Volunteers and we are thankful for their support!
