Hanover Elementary is a kindergarten through fifth grade building. We have approximately 440 students this year, and about 50 staff members. For the 2016-2017 school year, we have three sections of all day kindergarten and three sections each of grades 1-5. In addition to the core curriculum, which is taught by classroom teachers, students meet regularly for vocal music, physical education, media and technology instruction. We also have two full-time special education teachers on staff to help assist classroom teachers in meeting the individual needs of some of our students.
Our goal is to provide a high quality education in a safe and positive learning environment. We value parent involvement and appreciate support from home as we work together to help students reach their full potential.
Hanover School Pledge:
As a Hanover Elementary School student,
I promise to respect all people and property,
to be responsible and do my best at all times,
to recognize the rights of others,
the differences between right and wrong,
and the achievement of a job well done.
When I do this,
I will be a good citizen of my school,
my community and my country.
