On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12 and 13, 2013, the BHS Mock Trial Team competed at the State Competition at the Hennepin County Courthouse in Minneapolis, MN.  While they did not win the State Championship, they had an outstanding season.  Final results have been posted on the state website.  Buffalo placed 5th in state this year.

Buffalo took 8th place, out of 12 teams.  We beat Cretin-Durham Hall but lost to Bemidji and Nova Classical Academy.  However, both losses were on split ballots (one judge out or three had us winning each of those rounds).  Even better was that Nova, the eventual State Champion, beat us by only 3 points.  They beat every other team by a much greater margin.

Earning an award as a "All-State Attorney" was freshman, Madeline Schwappach.  Earning an award as "All-State Witness" was junior, Michelle Lee.
