Aaron Johnson and his BHS Current Health Trends Class is putting together a Halloween 5k to promote health and wellness in our community. As part of the curriculum they are exploring current fitness trends. The class thought it would be a great idea to put together a 5k event to help support the "Buffalo Hospital Foundation". The Buffalo Hospital Foundation is a community health outreach program.

The event will take place on Monday, October 30th at Buffalo High School. The race will begin at 4pm inside Bison Field East on the track. The registration fee is $5. The registration fee can be paid on the day of the race (cash or check made to BHS will be accepted) at the entrance to Bison Field East. All proceeds will go to the Buffalo Hospital. The money is going to be used specifically to help promote wellness for families in need in our community.

Aaron and his students would love to have you participate in their event. To register in advance, click on the blue text Registration Link or register the day of. If you aren't able to make it to the event, the class is also looking for donations to help support the Buffalo Hospital. The event is open to all. Bring your friends and family. Costumes are highly recommended for the run, but not a requirement.

Please contact Aaron Johnson with any questions.
