College Knowledge Month at BHS

Staff with College Knowledge Month

The goal of College Knowledge Month at BHS is to engage the whole student body and staff and conversations about college and post secondary planning. Speakers are invited in to present to students on topics like financial aid, tips on writing their college application essages, ROTC information (military), and NCAA inforomation (athletics). Former students are also invited in to participate in an 'Alumni Panel' to answer questions current students might have about their experiences thus far.

Every Tuesday, staff is encouraged to wear their college gear to spark conversations within their classes and around the building about college. Additionally, there is college trivia each Tuesday for students to participate in with the opportunity to win some great college gear.

College Knowledge Month ends with a week of college application assistance in the BHS computer lab. Many colleges waive their application fee for the last full week of October (23-27). Visit the Student Services Office for more information or call 763.682.8067.
