Monday, September 18 kicks off our Homecoming Week with the annual Homecoming Coronation. This event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the BHS PAC. Everyone is welcome to attend. This year our Homecoming Candidates (voted in by the senior class) are:

Females: Madelyn Backes, Gabrielle Grage, Abby Kohls, Mya Lubben, Ella Shuherk, Claire Stevens, Danika Tweten, and Carley Zumbusch
Males: Harrison Bjorback, Eric Braun, Peter Deneen, Alan Hernandez, Nick Immel, Cory Knudsen, Jack Oistad, and Aydin Scherber

Mixing Spoons this year (voted by senior class) are BHS Math Teacher, Michael Bloch and English Teacher, Tracy Hagstrom Durant. Mixing Spoons will be the Emcee during the Homecoming Coronation as well as at Prom.

Monday - Woke Up Like This vs. Flawless (dress in your pajamas or dress to impress)
Tuesday - Greece vs. Grease (dress like a Greek god/goddess or dress like you're in the 1950s)
Wednesday - Mathlete vs. Athlete; AAA - Class Competition
Thursday - Battle of the Classes/Class Color Day
   Freshman = Yellow
   Sophomores = Red
   Juniors = Blue
   Seniors = Black
   Staff = PURPLE!
Friday - Bison vs. Andover/Bison Pride Day; AAA PepFest

Friday, September 22 the Buffalo Bison Football team will host Andover at the Buffalo High School - Bison Field West. Kick off time is at 7 p.m. After the football game, all BHS students are invited back to the High School to participate in Fun Night activities. Fun Night will begin at 9:30 p.m. and ends at midnight. During this event, students will have the opportunity to enjoy seeing a hypnotist, play ping pong among many other fun activities will be on site. If students choose to leave Fun Night before it's over, they may not re-enter. There will be a $5 charge at the door. Fun Night is intended for current BHS students only.

Saturday, September 23 is our BHS Homecoming Dance. The dance goes from 7-10 p.m. and will be held at BHS. This is a semi-formal dance, which means neither jeans nor tennis shoes are allowed. If students choose to leave the dance before it's over, they may not re-enter. Cost for the dance is $7 in advance and $10 at the door. BHS students may bring a guest from another high school to the dance. A guest registration form must be filled out and returned to BHS no later than 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 22. This form is attached and is also available in the BHS front office. Tickets will be available to purchase Wednesday, September 20 through Friday, September 22 only. This year, $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
