Reminders / News:
2010-11 Student Opt-out Form: Each year, families have the option to opt-out of student directory information. The opt-out form is due back to the BHS office by April 1, 2010 for those choosing to opt-out of any or all three categories listed; Student Directory Information, Photos/Video Transmissions, and Military Recruitment (Applies to students in grades 11-12 only). The form must be filled out, signed, and returned in order to be complete. Please know that each school may have a different deadline for these forms to be turned in.
Many Scholarships Available: Please be sure to check the School Information section on our website for local and regional scholarships. This information is updated monthly during the school year. Scholarship applications are available in the Counseling Office.
Spring Parking Permits
Spring parking permits are now available in the front office at BHS for students. Be sure to bring in your current parking permit tag along with the $50 payment for Spring validation. These two items must be brought in together.
Senior Signature Shirts: Signatures and orders will be collected every morning this week in the senior hallway before school. Samples from previous years can be found in the Business Resource Area. T-Shirts are $20, Hoodies are $45.
BHS Spring Athletic Meeting will be held Thursday, March 11th in the PAC at 7 p.m.
Juniors: You have the opportunity to apply for the Rural Electric Washington Youth Tour. This tour is a week long trip to Washington D.C. in June 2010. If you're interested in finding out additional information, please stop by the Counseling office for an application.
Nordic Ski Team: The banquet has been moved to Tuesday, March 16th at the Middle School at 6 p.m.
Gymnasts: The banquet date has been changed to Monday, March 22nd.
AP Exams: Ordering deadline is March 24. See your AP Teacher or Mrs. Lane
Work night for Pegasus Editors on Thursday, 3/11 after school in A-203
New Wilderness Project members MUST turn in permission slips by Friday, March 12 to Mrs. Cary
Summer Classroom Driver Education: Students who will be 15 years old or older by July 1st, 2011 can pick-up summer registration forms in Mr. Schmeling's room (C-103). Classes will be held during the morning hours in June or July. Sites will be BHS, Hanover Elementary School and Montrose Elementary School. Also, one evening class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at BHS.
Set crew for the spring play, The Diviners, will begin meeting over spring break. See HD with questions. The times are as follows: 3/31, 4/1, 4/2, 4/3 from 9-noon and 1-4 p.m.and on 4/6 from 6-9 p.m.
