29th Annual Academic Excellence Program
This program was a time to recognize students in all grades 9-12 that have excelled in one or more of the following ways:
- Presidential Award - These awards are given to seniors that have maintained a 3.5 Cumulative GPA all four years of high school.
- Academic Lettering - These awards are given to students in grades 9-12 that have maintained a set Cumulative GPA during the current year, terms 1, 2, and 3.
Grades 9 and 10 = 3.80, Grade 11 = 3.75, and Grade 12 = 3.70.
- Department Award - These are awards in which each teacher has the opportunity to vote for students that have excelled in their class.
- Hall of Fame Award - One senior female and one senior male will be inducted into the BHS Hall of Fame. These award recipients are voted in by BHS faculty members.
In addition to these awards, each year we honor two community members that have had an impact at BHS over the years. This award is called the Kurt Weiche Friends of Education Award. This year, Josh Erickson and Dr. Tom Kuzma were honored with this award.
