BHS Local Scholarship Application Form

Applications due by May 3, 2013

The local scholarship program began in 1983.  At the present time 100 scholarships are available for graduates from a variety of community businesses.   All students are eligible to apply for these scholarships and all post high school education is given equal opportunity.

Zitur Family Memorial Scholarship

Applications due by May 17, 2013

The Zitur Family Memorial Scholarship is now available online and in the Counseling office.  This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior of BHS.  The recipient must plan to work with children in their chosen career (examples: Teaching, Day Care - Early Childhood, Social Work, Pediatrics, Child Psychology).  Students applying must have maintained an 3.0 average on a scale of 4.0.  Additional information can be found in the BHS Counseling office.

BHS to host FAFSA Completion Workshop

Buffalo High School is hosting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion workshop on Tuesday, February 19 from 3-6 p.m. in the 2nd floor computer labs, B203.  It only takes about an hour to complete a FAFSA--Come anytime between 3-6 p.m.--No reservation needed!  Also, enter a drawing to win a $500 scholarship.     Read on for additional information.

Buffalo Hospital Foundation Scholarship

Applications Due March 21, 2013

The Buffalo Hospital has a $500 scholarship available for a BHS graduating senior.  To qualify for the scholarship, the senior must be pursuing a career in a health care field and have previous volunteer, work or life experiences in health care.      Read on for additional information.

Hanover Athletic Association 2013

Scholarship Available

The Hanover Athletic Association is funding another scholarship for a 2013 graduating senior.  The two page application is available on their website.  The application deadline is Friday, April 5, 2013.  Instructions for mailing the application are included in the application process itself.

Wright-Hennepin Electric Scholarships

Application deadline is March 15, 2013

Wright-Hennepin Electric is offering scholarships for senior students who live in the local area and for those that are planning to enroll full-time in an undergraduate course of study for the next academic year at any two-year or four-year college, university or vocational technical school in the United States.  Applications, and additional information are available in counseling office.

Financial Aid Presentation Recap, 1/8/13

Nelson Masonic Lodge #135 Scholarship

Applications Due April 12, 2013

The Nelson Masonic Lodge #135 is offering a scholarship to 2013 graduating seniors.  Applications are now available in the BHS Counseling Office.  All applications must be turned in to the counseling office no later than Friday, April 12, 2013.
