Local Art Colleges offer summer courses for High School students. Half day, all day, week long and all summer long. A variety of art courses are offered. Some classes are available for college credit or pre-college preparation. Read "more" for a listing of schools and classes.
Join your friends at ValleyFair for an end of the year celebration on Saturday, May 22. The bus leaves at 10 a.m. and returns at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 and only 60 spots available!
The U of M Human Rights Center and Weisman Art Museum are sponsoring a film/video contest. Contestants will produce a short film that focuses on actions that eliminate race, class, and place disparities in the Twin Cities. It can be done in the form of a public service announcement, music video, comedy sketch, or other short video format.

Student Artwork on exhibit. Congratuations to two BHS students, Mike T. and Brittney L., who have their work on exhibit in the "Foot in the Door" show at the Mpls. Institute of Art. The MIA is free to the public everyday, the exhibit is up until June 2010
Join us at the annual BHS Year's End Arts Finale. 21 Seniors will be performing and exhibiting original work they have created this year. Projects include, dances, paintings, murals, flash animation, musical numbers, and poetry.
