Buffalo High School (BHS) Assistant Principal Kris Thompson has been named the Central Division Assistant Principal of the Year by the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP). Colleagues from the division nominate candidates. Thompson worked at BHS for 14 years as a physical education teacher, before leaving to gain administrative experience at Becker High School for two years. She returned to BHS in 2009 and has been in her current position as assistant principal for the last five years.

Cosmic Star Show - Talent out of This World is coming up on April 15th, 2014. If you have a talent... Do you juggle? Sing? dance? play the guitar,keyboard or something?Tell jokes, write poetry? Whatever! Sign up sheets are in the music area, black box, and Ms. Tamte’s office. Auditions will be held at 3:00 April 15th in the lunchroom.
Join us this summer for two weeks of Arts – O – Rama! Every day we spend imagining, creating, performing, and exploring in a different art form, (puppetry, dance, theater, music, spoken word, painting, computer graphics, printing and photography).

All Arts Magnet parents are invited to join the advisory council. Our spring meetings are at 4:00 on Thursday, March 6th, April 3rd, and May 1st. We meet at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Buffalo. Current projects inlcude building an alumni base, hosting a Fish Fry Fundaraiser at Huikko's on April 11th, and getting the word out about the program to potential families and students. We would love to have you join us!
