Classroom Placement Form due March 22

It is our goal at Hanover Elementary to place students in a classroom that will best meet their needs. In doing this, we take the following information into account:
Academic Achievement
Gender Balance
Social Needs
Learning Styles
Parental Input
Special Needs

As we begin the process of designing classes which are healthy, positive environments for all students and staff, we thank you for your input and remind you that your child's current teacher will be involved in the classroom placement for next year. Because we must consider many factors in preparing class lists, specific teacher requests will not be accepted. One exception is if your child's older sibling had a teacher you would like again. Please indicate the name of that teacher and the name of the older sibling on the back of this form. If you have any questions or want to talk more about your child's classroom placement for next year, you can contact Principal Brad Koltes. Brad's direct number is (763) 682-0823 or email

Classroom Placement Forms are due NO LATER than Friday, March 22nd.

Kindergarten Registration Night on March 4

Kindergarten Registration for Hanover Elementary will be held on Monday, March 4th at 6pm in the Media Center.

Please bring:

Child's completed registration form (unless you already mailed in)
Preschool screening record - this is required in MN before kindergarten. We just need to know where you had this done so we can obtain the records.
Copy of immunizations - these must also be up-to-date before school starts.
Copy of birth certificate for age verification

If you still need to schedule your child's preschool screening, please call 763.682.8408 to make an appointment.

**We ask that even if you are still working on immunizations or preschool screening, you turn in the registration form for your child asap. Your child can't be counted without a completed form. We plan for staffing needs in March and April for the upcoming school year, and having an accurate count helps us plan for optimal class sizes. Thanks for your help!
